About me
Mª Isabel Manso Mateo
I have a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Miguel Hernández University of Elche and specialised in Internal Medicine, training as an intern at the General University Hospital of Alicante. I have expanded my knowledge with a Master’s Degree in Diabetes in Daily Clinical Practice from the University of Barcelona and advanced courses in ultrasound applied to obesity and nutrition.
My professional experience includes:
- Attending physician in the Internal Medicine Department of the Hospital General Universitario de Alicante (since 2025).
- Internal Medicine Service Coordinator at Vithas Alicante and Medimar (2021-2025).
- Internist at HLA Vistahermosa Hospital (2019-2021) and at IMED Hospital in Benidorm (2004-2019).
- Attending physician at the Home Hospitalization Unit of the Hospital General Universitario de Alicante (2002-2004).
I am an active member of the Spanish Society of Internal Medicine and a member of the College of Physicians of Alicante. I have a high level of English and have participated in key technological projects, such as the implementation of the SAP Vithas One programme.
